Planet X was established in 2008 under the name El Etihad, with the scope of being one of the leading MEP contractors in Egypt. Since then, El Etihad has been working on several projects nationwide across various sectors. In 2020, due to changes in the board of directors, EL Etihad changed its vision to be a sole agent to global suppliers and added it to its business objectives.

In 2021, the turning point in which EL Etihad started renaming to Planet X to match its own new vision. Now we are; the sole agent in Egypt for GENERAL Pumps, GALA Valves, PEMALL Thermal-Flex and the authorized distributor for GVI Flow Meters, working on numerous projects across sectors nationwide. All products are both UL Listed and FM Approved.

Being the reason of the successful launch of a number of firefighting companies over the years, Planet X has advised, consulted on, supplied equipment, and implemented full fire protection solutions.
